4 Strings Protection Plan

Accidents happen.  Sound posts fall.  Case zippers break.  Little brothers drop crayons into cellos!  Our inexpensive Protection Plan gives you peace of mind throughout the life of your rental. Coverage includes:

• Broken Bows

• Broken Instrument Parts (strings not included)

• Broken Cases

• Seam Closings

• Sound Post, Peg & Bridge Adjustments

 The Protection Plan is added to the monthly rental fee at the following rates:

Violin $6      Viola $6        Cello $8       Bass $10

If You Choose Not To Participate

Participation in the Protection Plan optional, but highly recommended. If you choose not to participate, you are financially responsible for all repairs.  Repairs for instruments not covered by the Protection Plan will be charged at a rate of $50.00 per hour for labor, plus parts as required.

Notification Of Theft Or Mysterious Loss

Loss due to theft, mysterious loss, fire, or water damage is NOT covered under the Protection Plan. In the event of such loss, you may be financially responsible for the full Loss Value of the instrument as stated in your 4 Strings Rental Agreement.  For this reason, we strongly recommend that you add the instrument to your personal homeowners/rental insurance policy while it is in your possession. Please consult with your insurance agent for details. If the instrument is lost through theft, it is your responsibility to file a police report and provide us with a copy.
